New Alternatives

11 youth and 3 chaperones from New Alternatives spent 3 days aboard the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater. In addition to learning the basics of sailing, the group also learned about Clearwater’s ongoing efforts to clean up the Hudson River. The group spent the first night camping in the Saugerties Lighthouse and the second night sleeping in a barn.
