Hello, Angels!
Our next summer activity is three days of sailing and two nights of camping with the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater’s youth empowerment program. The trip runs from 8/31-9/2 and we need need adult chaperones – please contact us if you are interested in participating.
Below is the list of current needs.
1) Sasha still needs a planner to help her keep track of her many appointments.
2) Dougie, one of our college students, is struggling with bedbugs in his dorm at Rutgers. He needs a dust mite/allergen proof/bed bug proof cover for his mattress and pillow (it’s a extra long twin and a standard pillow).
3) Vanessa and Derek just moved into a long-term family shelter placement and need a microwave since they do not have a stove.
4) We need a small wastebasket for the case management office.
5) Hygiene supplies: we have many requests for deodorant and razors.
6) We need ramen and other non-perishable food to give to youth having hunger emergencies until we can set them up with food stamps.
7) Misty needs $135 to get a passport with her female gender on it.
